This week we will investigate some aspects of Native American life and upbringing. Luther Standing Bear introduces us to the Indian Boarding Schools, and the damage they did to Native American culture. We then look at modern writer's experience of American schooling, followed by a look at Sweezy and Bass to investigate life on the Great Plains before and after the coming of the white man.
